How to tap-test your render.
- 01Use the handle of a screwdriver and tap the wall gently, every 30cm or so.
- 02Sound render gives a solid, sharp knock.
- 03Blown render sounds dull and hollow, like a drum.
- 04Mark hollow patches with chalk. If they join up across a wall, call us.
